dc.description.abstract	The City of Prineville is constructing a new arterial roadway, the Northern Arterial, which will provide an alternative to Highway 26 for east-west travel through Prineville. As part of the planning process, ECONorthwest (ECO) assessed the socioeconomic impacts of the various alternative alignments for the Northern Arterial. ECO evaluated the need for land acquisition and displacement of residents and businesses as well as the impacts, particularly traffic-related impacts, on remaining businesses and residents.
